Grammys 2016 Red Carpet | HOT or NOT?

The biggest night in music happened last night and I was so excited I watched E!'s live coverage of the red carpet arrivals until 1am. I saw the good, the bad and the downright ugly... but these were the looks which stood out to me the most. PS. you can watch the Grammys in the UK tonight at 8pm on 4 Music!

Selena Gomez in Calvin Klein

Selena said she opted for a 'simple' look - err, if this is simple I'd love to see her idea of going all out! Despite that, I think she looks gorgeous in this glittery midnight blue gown. Verdict: HOT.

Taylor Swift in Versace

I love you, Taylor. But no. Just no. I don't mind the colour blocking trend that much but there just isn't anything I particularly like about this look. Anyone else think it looks like she's cosplaying a wilder version of Anna Wintour? Verdict: NOT.

Ellie Goulding in Stella McCartney

Ellie Goulding seemed to be the only celeb who worked a pastel coloured dress and I think it really works for her. Light blush pink really suits her blonde hair and has an air of elegance. Verdict: HOT.

Lady Gaga in custom Marc Jacobs

Lady Gaga, please stop trying so hard. Everyone's so desperate for attention that I feel like the way to get noticed now is by adopting the motto of less is more. Verdict: NOT.

Bella Hadid

Bella looks gorg in this cut-out sparkly dress and I wouldn't expect anything less from the model. Verdict: HOT.

MTV EMA 2015 Red Carpet | HOT or NOT?

Last night saw the event of the 2015 MTV European Music Awards - this year taking place in Italy and hosted by the 'cute vs badass' duo Ed Sheeran and Ruby Rose. While there wasn't as much drama as other MTV award shows cause (*cough* VMAs) the night was still pretty entertaining and featured hot performances from Fifth Harmony, Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber and Tori Kelly, just to name a few. Being European there weren't as many cringy jokes as there usually are in the American shows, which is always a good thing, but did the stars' red carpet looks reflect the level of style expected when in the fashion capital Milan? I'm not entirely sure...

Ruby Rose in Armani

Hitting the red carpet in a gothic tux and cane in tow, Ruby Rose definitely lived up to her badass status as promised by MTV. Wearing a total of SEVEN outfits throughout the night, I think everyone was equally impressed with her hosting skills as her impeccably versatile style. Verdict: HOT

Ellie Goulding in ALX

Ellie definitely shocked the audience when she turned up rocking her brand new orange hair but it really isn't doing much for me. As someone who is usually seen with lovely light blonde hair, the vivid colour just looks like a bleaching gone wrong. Plus that dress is so unflattering to her gorgeous figure! Verdict: NOT

Hailey Baldwin in Versace

Hailey may have messed up her line when presenting the 'nomishnations' but I absolutely adore her in this cut-out Versace dress paired with a smokey eye. Although I'm probably biased as I am prone to stalking her Snapchat! Verdict: HOT

Justin Bieber

Noooooo. The aim of going to events is not to make your outfit blend in with the red carpet. Bieber has the potential to look okay if he acually looked like he put some effort in for once. Verdict: NOT

Charli XCX in Vivienne Westwood

Why do I love Charli XCX so much? She dresses boldly and yet somehow it looks so effortless. I love how confident she seems and how she just works her own style all the time. Verdict: HOT

ESPY Awards 2015 Red Carpet | HOT or NOT?

I'd be lying if I said I didn't get a little bit overexcited every time I hear of an award show happening, just so I can write these fun blog posts and basically pretend I'm the fashion police! Yay. Now I will admit, I had never heard of the ESPYs before until I saw Caitlyn Jenner's inspiring speech go viral on Twitter. So for those of you who don't know, it's essentially a night to celebrate both individual and team athletic achievement - but since I couldn't care less about sports, I'm just here for the fashion and to see all the talented sports stars get glammed up for a change.

Kendall Jenner in Alexandre Vauthier

Kendall's model figure looks insane in this whimsical floaty dress! #goals. Verdict: HOT

Kylie Jenner in Shady Zeineldine

Ehh, the other Jenner sister - not so great. It's easy to forget this girl is only 17 years old when dresses like this just age her dramatically. Verdict: NOT

Amy Purdy

This amazing sequin ensemble takes me right back to seeing Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour last month! I'm pretty sure she has a costume almost identical to it. Verdict: HOT

Met Gala 2015 Red Carpet | HOT or NOT?

Award show season seems so long ago that it's almost like a breath of fresh air to see our favourite stars step out onto the red carpet once again! New York saw the biggest fashion party of the year last night as global style icons everywhere came together to celebrate the theme of 'China: Through The Looking Glass' at the annual Met Gala. While some celebs went all out with the dress-code in an attempt to shock us all, the key trends of the night seemed to be lace, floral and sheer overlays with designers Atalier Versace and Roberto Cavalli being firm faves.

Kendall Jenner in Calvin Klein Collection 

Kendall Jenner used to be so far down on my radar but lately I keep finding myself falling more in love with her each day. Aside from having a stunning model's face in general, I'm loving how unique this gown is; the colour is absolutely gorgeous and the sneaky peek of side-boob adds the perfect amount of sex appeal. Conclusion: HOT
