When I first started this blog, I never imagined that I'd be one to post something beauty related (Hair counts as beauty, right?!) as anyone who knows me will be aware that it's just not really my thing; I hardly ever wear makeup or style my hair and I'm just generally clueless about it all - most days I literally just wake up, brush my hair and go!
However, dry shampoo has always been high on my list of products I want to experiment with, so when some lovely Batiste cans arrived on my doorstep, I couldn't wait to finally have the chance to test them out. As seen in the above photo, this is the condition of my hair after its last wash two days ago - pretty grimy - but hey, if you're going to test dry shampoo you might as well do it when it's truly needed! The can I'm using is the limited edition Batiste Pixie Lott Dry Shampoo and is quick and easy to apply by following these 3 simple steps:
Although you may not be able to see the difference that much in these photos, at this point my hair was feeling so fluffy and bouncy! I was quite surprised at the amount of volume the dry shampoo had given my hair considering I'd only sprayed on the tiniest bit as I was unsure if it would leave a white residue on my dark hair, which fortunately it didn't! As my hair was feeling so gorgeously lifted, I decided to play around a bit and styled it into this half-up-do look:
It was super easy to do and the dry shampoo really helped give it that extra boost. Perhaps the best part of all though, is that when I took my hair down and brushed it out 45 minutes later, it looked just as healthy and revitalised as it did as soon as I had sprayed it on! (see below)
So to sum things up, Batiste Dry Shampoo is the perfect solution for when your hair needs a quick fix and I'll definitely be using it again. I have no idea how I've survived without it in my life all this time! Although the Pixie Lott can doesn't have a particularly amazing smell, I also tried the Batiste Blush handbag-sized can which is more fragrance based with the most divine floral scent.

I've always wanted to try Batiste's dry shampoo but they unfortunately don't sell it here, in Austria. I've heard so many good things about it, though!

Dry shampoo is my FAVOURITE beauty must-have.
ReplyDeleteThe amount of mornings this has saved me after being super lazy and not washing it the night before, or treasuring those extra hours in bed, is uncountable. Best. Ever.
