Fifty Shades Of Green

Pantone may have recently named Marsala as 'The Colour of 2015', but I for one beg to differ. Sorry to disenchant all you Christian Grey fans out there, but despite the misleading title, this post has absolutely nothing to do with a Fifty Shades spin-off. Now that's cleared up, here's why the colour green deserves a place in every girl's wardrobe:
Detachable Faux Fur Trim Coat - Miss Selfridge
Leather Snakeskin Textured Panel Satchel - New Look
Textured Lace Hem Pelmet Skirt - Topshop
Anthea Cut Out Split Maxi Dress Emerald - Missguided
Sidonia Lime Collared Shift Dress - Missguided
Elida Maxi Dress - Topshop

Aside from being the colour of growth, harmony, renewal and just an emotionally positive colour in general, it looks absolutely gorgeous in every shade and is the perfect way to brighten up your wardrobe as we move into the tricky transitional season. I genuinely can't believe that I've never realised how much I adore it until recently and now it's like I'm stocking up on all things green as a way of apologising for my complete and utter ignorance formerly in life. Here are some wonderfully viridescent items that I've picked up recently:

What colour are you planning on painting your 2015 closet? (Clothes-wise that is!)

  1. I adore red so I do agree with pantene BUT at the same time green is so beautiful and I have seen green and khaki pop up everywhere. It can look so classy xxx
